Congratulations to Sabrina Lyn and Nathaniel Thomas who were recently selected to represent Jamaica at the UANA Swimming Cup in Coral Springs Florida January 19-21, 2018.
They will be part of the Jamaican team participating in the meet.
We wish them all the best as they represent our club and country.

Our Christmas Camp with Kelsie Campbell was a huge success. All our swimmers were engaged in a training camp with Jamaican British swimmer Kelsie Campbell from Wednesday December 20th to Saturday December 23rd 2017.
Kelsie spent four days in one on one sessions, group sessions as well as joining in our regular training sessions with our club.
Swimmers got first hand techniques and drills from Kelsie, likewise benefitted from seeing her in action executing drills for all strokes. See more of Kelsie in videos on our website.

A big Tornadoes applause for this initiative from our Head Coach Wendy who brought this dream of hers to a reality.
A big thank you to Kelsie for joining our team. We wish you all the best in your swimming.
Notice she is already a Tornadoes swimmer in her orange and black gear. We love that look.
More exciting camps, clinics and workshops in 2018. Stay tuned and in the pool.
It has been a less than pleasing start to her senior career, but Kelsie Campbell is now refocusing her efforts as she bids for a spot on Jamaica's team to the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, Australia, next year.
The English-born Campbell, who is one of Jamaica's most decorated swimmers at the junior level, is still in the transition phase to the senior ranks, and she is optimistic that 2018 will be her breakout year.
However, in order for that to happen, Campbell is aware that she will have to recommit to balancing an intense schedule in and out of the pool. This includes more strength work and school, among other commitments.
The 19-year-old is one of several candidates who could join the sensational Alia Atkinson in flying the Jamaican flag in the pool 'Down Under'.
“My goal for the season ahead is to get back my love for training and competing, and really embrace all the opportunities that are offered to me.

It was a great end to a wonderful year 2017 our club, Tornadoes Swim Club won this year's staging of the Christmas Open and the newly formed Christmas Breezer Junior and Masters Meet by a distant and clear margin of points.
Despite the gruelling schedule of the four days and the morning and afternoon sessions our swimmers did superb with some masterful swims. We made new friends from Turks and Caicos Islands.
It was a joy to see events that had a line up on the blocks of seven Tornadoes swimmers ready to swim. Congrats to all our swimmers who swam every event to their best. Congrats to those who dug deep and swam to give their relay team points and to those who won every race they were entered in, those who swam to a meet record or national record. Congrats to all our swimmers.
Congrats coaches for a great year....more work to be done for 2018 and congrats parents without you it would not have been possible and for that we say THANKS.
There is no rest we are swimming this week and next - see events calendar for info on Christmas Training and Kelsie Campbell Camp.
Happy Holidays Tornadoes Swim Club
